I bought the TRUDEAU SILICONE BERRY TEA INFUSER because I accidentally bought some green tea in a pouch that I thought was the powdered instant kind that I normally get, but it wasn't. This green tea was actually the leaves and since I don't have a teapot, I tried using just the leaves but then I couldn't drink to the bottom of the cup without getting a mouth full of them, lol.
The BERRY TEA INFUSER is perfect for what I need it for. I received the yellow one and it goes great with the green stem.
It's easy to open and clean, and I can get a full teaspoon of tea leaves in it with more than enough room to allow the leaves to expand. You could probably get 2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons, maybe 3, depending on how big the tea is.
I also found that I can get almost three cups of tea, actually more like 5-6 because my cup is large and holds about 2 1/4 cups, with just the one teaspoon, but this will probably vary with different tea leaves.
The lid/saucer fits well on the lid of my cup, which is a large Campbell's Soup Mug, and provides the tea infuser a place to rest after brewing.
Packaging says that the infuser and lid/saucer is microwave and dishwasher safe.
I love it and it's so easy to use just fill it and dip it, like a commercial tea bag. There is a little tea debris that comes through the holes, but it's mostly dust in my case.
Now I can buy more green tea from the Japanese market and I can save money, since I don't have to buy a tea pot.

I ordered 4 of these when a friend of mine showed me hers. they arrived today and i just got done trying one out. I love that it is made of silicon because it is so much easier to use than the metal and other tea infusers i have used, the little stem works great like the string of a tea bag and dangles off the side of my tea mug and i love that it is flexible and not like some of the metal handles i have used in the past. I love the little lid that also comes with it so that when i am done using it to cover my cup and let the tea steam i can set the little berry infuser on it. The little berry part of it can hold a decent amount of tea and the little holes are nice because so far i havent had any problems with loose tea getting everywhere in my mug! the reason i did rate this four stars instead of five is that some teas dont quite fit in the berry, if they have bigger pieces to them, or if you need to use a certain or larger amount. But it mostly works and i adore it!! it is easy to clean up after also which is amazing and nice :) lol i was disappointed by the fact that the colors were randomly chosen. i was really hoping to receive a red one at least but i ended up with 3 yellow and 1 orange. I think this would make a great gift for any tea drinkers you might know, I want to send one to a friend of mine who will just love the cute berry look and how nice it is to use.
On the cute note i think it was a creative way to make the infuser! i love strawberries and when i saw this it just made me say i have to try it! it's so cute!
All in all I think the positive to this infuser is the silicone which makes it flexible, and it is abit more stable than the metal infusers with handles that can sometimes be a bit heavy. can hold a decent amount of tea and is easy to clean up!!! I'm so glad my friend showed me hers! it's just what i needed.

I just received mine yesterday so I haven't used it much, it's very pretty and practical. The only downside I could find was that the holes are a little bigger than I would wanted but I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered 3 of these for Christmas gifts. I saw that you couldn't pick what color you were ordering, but figured that since I was ordering three I would be probably receive one of each color or at least two different colors. However, they sent me all of the same color and in orange. I don't understand why we are not able to choose the color we want. Of course most people will want red, but if it is out of stock just say so. It seems as if the company ordered in all three colors from their manufacturer, but not everyone wanted the orange or yellow, so to get rid of them they make it so the customer does not have a choice. SO if you are picky about color, I wouldn't take your chances with this company.
