| Customer Reviews: Fell Apart within a few weeks July 29, 2010 Adult Student (DC Area) Purchased this case as a gift. Within a few weeks of use, the case split apart at the seams and the stitching came undone. It looked great when it arrived but has not stood the test of time or mild use.
Great case for the price May 27, 2010 D. L. Jahn (Glen Burnie, MD United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was very suprised at the quality of this case. It's pretty thick and the leather is rigid (which is good). Stitching is good. It covers everything except the charger port on the bottom, the volume keys on the side and the upper, back corners of the iPod. The belt clip is sturdy and strong. Well worth the money. If you add a screen cover (I highly recommend [...]), then you have almost complete protection from scratches and drops. Well worth the $5 I paid for it.
Great! (if you use it right) April 13, 2010 R. A. Kelley Jr. (FL USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased the belt clip case because just keeping it in my pocket was not working out. The bumps were consistently causing music changes (no, I did not have it locked). Keeping it on the belt clip case made all the difference in the world. I included the (if you use it right) because I also regularly use a mini microphone that does not connect well if you put the iPod in the case right side up. So, I put it in the case upside down which makes it a bit hard accessing the button and the side volume controls. It also covers the external speaker when your put it in upside down.
So, when I intend to record quick memos, I have the iPod upside down and all is well. When I want music, I have it right side up and all is well.
