Got the headphones today and took them out on a 8mi run. The sound was very good, much better then any headphones that I have run in. Excellent fit, and feel, a must have for anyone that listens to music while they run.

These phones stay comfortably in your ears while you mess with hats, coats, hoods, scarves and while you walk or run. Much better than over-the-top headphones or earbuds etc., which are always falling out of place. The sound is very clear: excellent for speech, good enough to enjoy music but of course there are better-sounding phones for use at home. These phones fulfill their intended purpose extremely well.

I've had both the PMX70 and PMX80. Visually they are identical except for color. The PMX70 I had the left ear stopped working after 18 months. Read around and you'll see this is a constant problem for these headphones. Suddenly there is no sound in the left ear, and you'll never get sound again. Not worth the warranty repair.
So I bought a replacement PMX80 and the left ear stopped working after 3 months. Only 3 months?? Grrrr!!! I got a replacement pair. On that replacement PMX80 *both* ears suddenly started to *shock* inside my ears after 6 months of use on multiple devices. It was quite startling. So once again I'm calling the company. I work out hard daily and do sweat but that's where I thought the strength of these headphones were.

I don't hear any better sound quality than what came with my Sansa Clip earbuds. I like them because I can "pop" these in and out of my ears quickly when at the gym and I want to hear something on the TV or if someone is talking to me. I wish I had bought less expensive ones.

These things are pretty fantastic. I run 4x/week on various surfaces and they don't budge, no matter how bouncy the terrain. The sound quality is surprisingly good for earbud-style headphones - very clear. I have tried at least three or four different brands and styles (earbuds, over-ear hooks, regular headphones) for specific use when running and these are far and away the best. I am very pleased with them - well worth the price.
